Galaxy Group

The Galaxy Group has been instrumental in helping to develop the Vision and establishing the current portfolio of projects. It comprises representatives from the Public Sector, Local Business and other key organisations such as Yeovil College and Yeovil Hospital.

This wider perspective and network has added dynamism to the formation and early delivery of the Vision.

The current role of the Galaxy Group is to act as an informal advisory body to help deliver the Yeovil Vision and be the “Guardians” of the philosophy and intention of the Vision embodied in its strap line “The heart of the country the mind of a city”
