Left Tom Tyler, Chester Properties asset managers for UBS Triton said, “Yeovil is quite an unusual town. It has a very big catchment area but what we see is leakage to other centres in places such as Exeter and Bristol. We want to keep shoppers here and help realise the potential of the town centre”. Left Tony Fife, Portfolio Holder for the Vision said on the approval of the planning application. “I’m very pleased at the Quedam redevelopment scheme getting the green light. It’s a £45million inward investment for the town and some 900 jobs will be created. Yeovil is currently riding the economic climate fairly well and this can only be a good thing for the town”.
